How to compress plastic bottles

In order to save space in the yellow plastics recycle bin, plastic bottles should be compressed. All bottles that can be compressed have the logo shown below on them. It is clear that easy to follow instructions are required for this, so here they are.



1. Remove the cap from the bottle to be compressed.
2. Press down with both hands on the top of the bottle to fully compress it.
3. While holding the compressed bottle down with one hand, replace the cap.
